Our new social enterprise network, SEntral is planning our 6th meeting for September 4th.
We aim to provide a voice for social enterprise, learn from each other, raise the profile and support the growth of sustainable social enterprises in Worcestershire.
We have been travelling around different venues in the county. All our meetings, since our launch last September have been held in social enterprises. We have enjoyed visits to Transition Worcester's shop in Lychgate, Worcester, Simply Limitless in Kidderminter, The Old Needleworks in Redditch, and Spectrum Days in Droitwich.
During each session, we have learned more about the enterprises in our county, heard from inspirational entrepreneurs, and discussed issues affecting our sector, including the strategic needs of social enteprises, funding sources, and business rate relief.
We are now preparing a social enterprise event which will take place in November 2014, which we hope will enable more of you to attend, network with each other and learn something new.
