Running an organisation can bring with it all kinds of unexpected challenges. The majority of business leaders have a background or talent in a particular discipline. Yet MD’s need to be able to give direction with finance, sales & marketing, IT, human resources as well as actually ensuring customers get great service. Very few of us feel confident in all these different areas, yet a successful  and growing business needs to consider them all.

For some busy leaders, there are just times when you run out of steam and need time away from the constant demands of the role that occur relentlessly, every single day. Time to reflect, review and try a different approach can be very valuable.

Leading an organisation means it can be difficult to have a conversation about some of these things with employees. Decisions will have inevitably have an impact on everyone working in the organisation, so sharing ideas and possibilities doesn’t always work in practice.

This can be somewhere to go when you get ‘stuck’ or to hear about new ideas to help you improve your own leadership style. The group members will come from a variety of backgrounds but everyone is willing to share information and provide a mutual support group.
